Dolphin Kayak Tour in Edgewater, FL

1.5 - 2 Hours

Ages 6+

No Pets

When I’m not in the freshwater and want to head to the beach, this is one of my new favorite places to go! We will paddle the North Indian River Lagoon looking for all kinds of wildlife. The most common we see are the dolphins, aquatic birds, sting rays, and sea turtles with the occasional appearance of a manatee or two. We may stop at one of the Islands to stretch our legs and play in the water along the way (please bring water shoes if you want to get in the water. Shells hurt!). We paddle about 1.5 miles and the tour starts and ends in the same location. Hats and Sunglasses are recommended for this tour since we will be in direct sunlight the whole time.  **My tours are capped at 6 kayaks per tour, perfect for families and smaller groups!**

Tour Highlights:

  • Wildlife sightings: dolphins, stingrays, sea turtles, and occasionally manatees
  • Island stop for a break and play in the water
  • Ideal for families or smaller groups with a max of 6 kayaks per tour
  • Location: Mernard-May Park, Edgewater, FL
  • Essential: Water shoes, hat, and sunglasses

It was our family’s first time on a kayak. It was great, fun and informational. Aaron, our guide was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable…..with a witty sense of humor!!. He really knew the area and we are able to see a manatee, several alligators and lots of turtles and other wildlife. Aaron was very nice. I would definitely recommend AWA Kayak Tours. Thank you!!

This tour was amazing! We have never been on kayaks before but Aaron showed us what to do and was incredibly helpful. Aaron guided us through the river and was so great. He showed us all the wildlife and got some awesome pictures for us. I am so happy we did this!

We had a great time with our tour guid, Aaron on a sunset kayak tour. He was very knowledgeable about the local birds and wildlife.

He also took a lot of fantastic pictures and shared them with us after the trip.

AWA tours was a great way to spend a little time out on the water on a beautiful evening.

Me and my three grandchildren, 11, 9 and 7 had a great time with Aaron. He was very patient and helpful with the kids. He made sure they got to see a variety of animals that live on the water and he also taught us kayaking etiquette. I would highly recommend AWA Kayak Tours
